And by star, I mean blog.
Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Jen and I was raised in Westchester, NY. I now attend James Madison University while pursuing a dual degree in Media Arts and Design (Corporate Communication Concentration) and Sociology. I'm a sorority girl, an extrovert, and wannabe fashionista. I'm currently interning with Ruby Media Group, a PR / Social Media agency in New York. I work as a waitress on my weekends to pay my expenses. NY Belle is a place for me to balance my inner southern belle with the cutthroat career world of the concrete jungle and everything in between.
I've never seriously attempted to blog before, heck, I never managed to even keep a diary back when diaries were the trendy thing to do circa the late 1990's. I also can't imagine who would find any part of my life to be remotely interesting, but I've always loved writing and I've always wanted a place to showcase my work while writing about what I want when I want to. I can't guarantee I'll update this baby regularly, but I would love to build my resume and share my experiences as an intern in metropolitan New York and college student in rural Virginia. And I would love if ya'll tagged along for the ride.
